Gravel Shoulder/Road Maintenance

Summary:

With smaller budgets and the shrinking workforce, agencies are continuing to have to do more with less. One area that local agencies are looking to address is gravel road/shoulder maintenance. The focus of this study will be to obtain, review, synthesize, and document the Nicollet County process; calculate the difference of material usage with best practices; survey local agencies to determine current practices; and synthesize best practices.
