Status:  Complete
Report Date:  10/13/2025

Summary:

This project produced a “Roundabout Ready: Drive, Walk, Pedal Right!”, which is a public educational video designed to enhance safety and confidence for drivers, pedestrians, and bicyclists when navigating modern roundabouts. Through animation, demonstrations, and expert narration, the video provides step-by-step guidance for safely entering, circulating, and exiting roundabouts, while emphasizing key principles such as yielding, appropriate lane selection, and crosswalk awareness. The video is complemented by this comprehensive research synthesis, which compiles national and Minnesota-based studies to examine real-world pedestrian experiences and driver behavior at roundabouts.
