Minnesota Snow and Ice Field Handbook for Snowplow Operators Update

Summary:

The purpose of this project is to edit and update the content in the Minnesota Snow and Ice Field Handbook for Snowplow Operators and print for distribution to local agencies. The field handbook helps promote the understanding of tools, best practices and limitations for snow and ice control maintenance operations in the areas of pavement and weather conditions, determining the best maintenance practice and examples of recommended application of chemicals used.
