Reduce Vehicle-Animal Collisions with Installation of Small Animal Exclusion Fencing Status: ActiveProject Start Date: 10/17/2017Subscribe for Updates Summary: This research implementation project will install, monitor and evaluate a variety of small-animal exclusion fences at three Minnesota sites (Waconia, Scandia and Eagan). Researchers will monitor the effects on target species and other creatures, evaluate costs and ultimately recommend design specifications for future usage by MnDOT. This project will complement existing research conducted by Minnesota DNR and leverage work by the Minnesota Zoo.
