Using Truck GPS Data for Freight Performance Analysis in the Twin Cities Metro Area

Summary:

This project used commercially available truck GPS data to study freight performance on 38 corridors in the Twin Cities. Based on performance measures, including average truck volume, truck mobility, truck delay and truck travel time reliability, researchers identified the top bottlenecks for heavy truck traffic in the Twin Cities.
