This project identified programs and strategies that agencies across the country have successfully used to expand multimodal travel alternatives in rural areas and small cities. The final report provides a compendium of 65 strategies, including transit programs, bike and pedestrian improvements, and land use planning approaches, emphasizing programs that could potentially be successful in Minnesota.
