Summary:

Past studies have shown that recruiting students into civil engineering has been an increasing struggle. This study will focus on the subset of city and county engineers and their unique attributes and challenges by combining workforce/recruiting experts with passionate city and county engineers to pioneer a recruiting campaign. The project goals include creating a message, developing tools, identifying champions, and equipping them with tools to communicate, promote and recruit.
