The overall goal of this research is to confirm the roadside swales infiltration estimates by the MN Swales Calculator by field measurements at several locations. Specific objectives include: Collecting and reviewing site information at seven selected stations for monitoring; 1. Establishing the monitoring stations and systems; 2. Collecting rainfall, runoff, and flow data at the stations to verify that the monitoring systems are operating as designed; 3. Assisting with the analysis to compare field measurements and calculator estimates.
