MnPASS Modeling and Pricing Algorithm Enhancement

Summary:

Researchers created a computer simulation of the MnPASS high occupancy toll lane network, which they used to model the impact of the current MnPASS pricing algorithm and four alternatives. The project provided useful insight into MnPASS pricing, and MnDOT plans to implement a simplified algorithm that should smooth price changes compared to the current algorithm.
