Summary:

Analysis of industry clusters--regional concentrations of related industries--provided insight into the transportation needs and issues faced by companies in 12 industries that are particularly significant to the economies of their regions. This project provided information that will be valuable for statewide transportation planning. It also provided a model of a new approach for information gathering that can be used in both statewide and regional planning.
