Developing requests for proposals (RFPs) is an important part of a local agency's work. Local agencies regularly use RFPs to solicit the support of outside firms and consultants to conduct work that they cannot do internally. Ensuring local agency staff can efficiently develop RFPs that accurately address and communicate the proposed project's needs is critical to delivering a safe and efficient transportation network. The deliverables for this project include an instruction guide (interactive and accessible PDFs) and a Word template for use in preparing an RFP.
