Remaining Service Life Asset Measure, Phase 2Status: CompleteReport Date: 03/29/2022 Summary: This is the second phase of a study that recommended a new percent remaining service interval (PRSI) measure for uniform condition assessments of bridges and pavements. The main objective of Phase 2 is to obtain relevant data to calculate the PRSI for different categories of pavement, as well as to define and calculate additional metrics for asset sustainability and deferred preservation liability. Additionally, researchers will determine how much time and funding is needed to bring the system to a stable configuration of even distribution of PRSI, which will allow for more consistent planning.
