Evaluation of Concrete and Mortars for Partial Depth RepairsStatus: CompleteReport Date: 11/20/2014 Summary: Researchers developed a laboratory testing-based acceptance procedure for evaluating prebagged commercial patching mixtures for partial-depth repair. They also evaluated the effectiveness of chemical admixtures for improving the performance of mixtures developed by MnDOT and recommended effective partial-depth repair construction practices. Based on the results of this project, MnDOT is revising its qualification process for partial-depth patching. The agency is also reviewing researchers' construction recommendations to determine whether to update MnDOT's manual for partial-depth repairs.
